Front St & Berkeley St - 10am to 3pm

Toronto Waterfront Marathon is back in person and Jamii is organizing St Lawrence Neighbourhood's Cheering Section and Family Fun Run!

The Family Fun Run will start at 250 The Esplanade at 8:30am and end at St Lawrence Neighbourhood's Cheering Section at Front St & Berkeley St after following the race route of 1-km.

The event is free but registration is required to join Family Fun Run! Click here to register! All welcome: pets, strollers, and more!

We will have face painting by Linda Epp, live music by Aline Morales and friends, and crafts at the cheering section but we will still need our neighbours to cheer with us and win "The Best Cheering Section of 2022!"

Help us be the best community cheering section at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon! The prize is awarded based on most community spirit. Feel free to dress up, bring a fun sign, make some noise and join Aline and our community's percussion group with your dance moves!

2019 St Lawrence Cheering Section

October 20, 2019 | Berczy Park

On Sunday, October 20th 2019 Jamii organized both the Family Fun Run and St Lawrence Cheering Section at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon and won the big prize for the Best Cheering Section!

We are also grateful to our local cinema, Imagine Cinemas, for the donation of movie passes for all the winners of the Family Fun Run!!

Thank you to the planning committee: Isorine Marc, Dennis Glasgow, Shaun Pearen, Mary McDonald, Dan O'Leary, Zarita Adhiambo, Josefina Bilotta, Maureen Browne, Raecheal Goddard, Karen Lam and all the wonderful people who showed up on the day of. Without you cheering up the marathon runners, we wouldn't have won!
