UNVEILING OF THE LARGEST PHOTO EXHIBITION OF OLD TOWN TORONTO!

Joy in the Park is back tomorrow, Friday, May 8, and we’re bringing music, dance, family activities, and a brand-new outdoor photo exhibition to David Crombie Park.

This is a big one for Jamii.

We’ll be unveiling PASI, our newest and largest photo exhibition along The Esplanade. Created in celebration of the City of Toronto’s “The World in a City” theme, PASI brings together 86 people of all ages, from 6 months to 90 years old, representing home countries participating in this summer’s major international soccer tournament.

THE UNVEILING OF PASI: 6 PM AT JARVIS AND THE ESPLANADE

We’ll begin at 6 PM at Jarvis and The Esplanade with a walkabout to unveil the exhibition, accompanied by live music from Aline Morales and Rudy Ray.

LIVE PERFORMANCES: 6:30 PM ACROSS FROM MARKET LANE PUBLIC SCHOOL IN DAVID CROMBIE PARK

At 6:30 PM, the celebration continues across from Market Lane Public School in David Crombie Park with music by Joaquín Núñez & Habana Safari, a dance performance of Ashes by Artists in Motion, facepainting by Linda Epp, stiltwalking by Caitlin Morris-Cornfield, and a soccer-inspired craft for kids.

Bring your family, bring a friend, bring your neighbours, or come by on your own. This event is free for everyone, and no registration is needed.

Come celebrate with us tomorrow. Let’s fill the park, cheer on PASI, and kick off this new exhibition together!
