Want to watch the big soccer matches with other people, but not at a sports bar and not alone at home? The Esplanade’s Soccer Screenings bring neighbours and soccer fans together at The Jamii Hub for select tournament matches in June and July.

The series begins with Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, June 12, then continues with the semi-finals, third-place play-off, and final. Come for the match, stay for the community feeling, and enjoy a casual indoor gathering with people from The Esplanade and beyond.

The screenings are free to attend. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase, and every purchase helps support Jamii’s free arts programs, workshops, and community events at The Jamii Hub.

These public screenings have been approved through FIFA’s public viewing process.

Bring a friend or a neighbour if you’d like, and watch the games with community around you!

Support free community arts

Jamii keeps programs and events free so everyone can take part, without financial barriers. If you’re able, you can support our $15 for 15 Years campaign and help us reach $15,000 by December 15 for Jamii’s future programs at The Jamii Hub. Your donation moves the goal forward and is eligible for a charitable tax receipt. Donate here now.
