JAMII'S THRIFT MARKET

November 25 to 29, 2026

WHEN | November 25 to 29, 2026

WHERE | The Jamii Hub (264 The Esplanade, Toronto)

Community donations, four days of second-hand shopping, and a fundraiser supporting free arts programs.

Jamii's Thrift Market brings neighbours together to give useful items a second life while raising funds for free arts programs in the community. From clothing and accessories to home items and little surprises, the market is filled with second-hand treasures donated by people who want their unused belongings to go to a good cause.

For its November 2026 edition, Jamii is expanding the market to four days of shopping, with a new schedule that allows neighbours to donate and shop on the same day!

Have a jacket you haven't worn in ages? A bag sitting at the back of your closet? Some lovely home décor that no longer has a place in your home? Instead of letting these items collect dust, consider donating them to Jamii. Your hidden treasures could become someone else's favourite find while helping fund arts workshops and community events.

Shoppers can browse a changing selection of like-new, second-hand items available for suggested donations from $1 to $50, or more for rare treasures. Admission is free for everyone.

Why pop by?

  • Great second-hand finds: Browse clothing, accessories, home items, and other treasures at affordable suggested donation amounts.

  • Four days to shop: More opportunities to stop by, look through the tables, and find something you love.

  • Donate while you shop: From Thursday to Saturday, bring items you no longer use and browse the market during the same visit.

  • Support a good cause: Your contributions help Jamii continue offering free arts workshops, events, and activities for the community.

  • Connect with neighbours: Enjoy a friendly neighbourhood gathering where useful things find new homes.

How does it work?

We're starting with a full day dedicated to collecting donations on Wednesday. From Thursday through Saturday, the market opens for shopping while we continue accepting donated items. Sunday is our final shopping day, with no more donation drop-offs. You’re welcome to drop off items, shop for second-hand treasures, or do both! You don't need to donate any items to shop.

DONATION DROP-OFF & THRIFT MARKET SCHEDULE

  • Wednesday, November 25 | 11 AM to 7 PM: Donations only. No shopping.

  • Thursday, November 26 | 11 AM to 7 PM: Donations and Shopping

  • Friday, November 27 | 11 AM to 7 PM: Donations and Shopping

  • Saturday, November 28 | 9 AM to 7 PM: Donations and Shopping

  • Sunday, November 29 | 9 AM to 4 PM: Shopping only. No donations.

A little goes a long way

Jamii's Thrift Market is built around a simple idea: things we no longer need can still have value for someone else. By donating, shopping, or spreading the word, neighbours help turn everyday items into support for creative opportunities in The Esplanade and beyond.

Take a look around your home, see what you might be ready to pass along, and come visit us at The Jamii Hub. We'd love to see what you bring and what you find!

ACCEPTED ITEMS:

Clothes (washed), shoes (clean), bags, purses, wallets, accessories (hats, scarves, belts, sunglasses, etc.), jewellery, household decoration, plant pots and vases, wall art, lamps and light fixtures, kitchenware, stationary items, board games, and puzzles, craft and art supplies; fabric, yarn, sewing notions, sports and camping gear (clean, safe), kids items and toys.

PLEASE DON'T BRING:

Books, mattresses, sofas, large furniture, open cosmetics, used pillows, used undergarments, broken or old electronics, TVs, printers, large appliances, hazardous items, medical equipment.
