About the Event

FREE | 16+ | NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED

For 3 sessions in March, award-winning poet, filmmaker, and storyteller Patrick de Belen will be facilitating a series of creative writing and storytelling workshops inspired by this month's theme of "Migration". Participants will explore different poetic styles through a collection of writing activities and prompts, and experiment with rhythm and rhyme, and the art of spoken word poetry. If you are interested in uncovering your own story, learning to craft a spoken word piece, space to poetically reflect and journal, and potentially developing some public speaking and performance techniques along the way, this workshop series is for you!
