Dear Neighbours,

I recently traveled back to the South of France, to the village where I grew up. Just a few minutes away, in the charming village of Saussines (Hérault), lives my mother’s best friend, Claudine. When I told her I wanted to bring back some beautiful wine to share with my neighbours on The Esplanade/St Lawrence, she immediately said: “You have to try my friend Marc Paul's wine, he makes the best in the region!”

Marc runs a small, family-owned vineyard – petit domaine familial – with just 18 hectares. The vines are spread across six nearby communes, growing on a rich variety of soils: argilo-calcaires, argiles blanches, and éboulis calcaires, with some parcels even classified as "AOP Grés de Montpellier".

Marc’s son, Sylvain, has recently taken over the winemaking tradition, a legacy that has been in the Paul family since 1720. The wines are crafted with care: all grapes are hand-harvested in small…
