Our monthly Belonging Outings invite older adults to explore new places, connect with one another, and experience art and culture in meaningful ways. Each month, we visit a different venue that sparks curiosity and conversation.

About the Event

Join us for a special outing to the Canadian Canoe Museum, where we’ll explore Canada’s rich cultural and environmental history through the stories of canoes, kayaks, and watercraft from across the country. This visit offers a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired by the beauty of craftsmanship and heritage.

We’ll leave the Jamii Hub at 9:00 a.m. by car and arrive around 10:30 a.m.. We will enjoy a guided tour at 11:00 a.m (duration 45min) and can enjoy a lunch at the local restaurant (or bring your own food). We will depart at 2:30pm and be back at The Jamii Hub at 4pm.
