Canadian Multiculturalism Day is an annual celebration that brings together diverse communities to honor the rich cultural fabric of Canada through music, dance, art, and storytelling. Audiences on The Esplanade are invited to enjoy performances by local and international artists, including vibrant music, dance, and photographic exhibitions. Celebrating Cultures is a chance to reflect on the beauty of diversity, the strength of our communities, and the shared experiences that unite us all. Celebrated every year, this event is a true reflection of the multicultural spirit that defines Canada.

Black in Canada by Artists in Motion (AIM) is a moving dance performance exploring Black Canadian history, resilience, and joy through powerful choreography and spoken word. Crafts for kids will propose to discover prominent Black Canadian figures.
The young ones will be super excited by facepainting with Linda Epp, surprised by our stilt-walker and host Troy Feldman, enjoy family games with the St. Lawrence Community Recreation Centre, crafts for the young ones by the St. Lawrence Daycare Co-Op, and a delicious BBQ by the St. Lawrence Market.
