Exploring Melodies and Creating a Communal Song

June 2024

June 7, 14, 21, 2024

Workshop Lead: Paula Sofía Morales, Nickeshia Garrick

Join us on Fridays June 7th, 14th and 21st for a three-part workshop series where we explore the melodies within us while creating a collective song celebrating Latin American rich cultural connections. Guided by June lead artist Nickeshia Garrick (June 7th) and singer-songwriter Paula Sofía Morales (June 14th and 21st), we'll explore music and storytelling, emphasizing unity and strengthening our community bonds through the power of music.

The participants will be encouraged to sing with each other, strengthening their listening skills and singing in tune as a group.

Heads-up: We will be on a break in July and August. Jamii's indoor activities & workshop series will commence in September 2024.
