LAINI Dance is a free dance series for girls ages 8–12. Together, participants will move, build confidence, and create choreography in a supportive group setting. Sessions combine Afro-Caribbean and contemporary movement, body conditioning, and creative exploration inspired by land, nature, and personal connection to place.
Each workshop begins with dynamic stretching, core-strengthening, and age-appropriate conditioning to build strength and body awareness. Participants then learn Afro-influenced movement that supports rhythm and musicality, and they’ll explore creative choreography development with space to share their own movement ideas. It’s welcoming for beginners and engaging for dancers with experience.
