Let’s get "MOVING IN THE PARK"

Physical exercise for one household at the time.

 

Jamii is inviting you and/or your household to join one of our 25-min movement-based sessions in the park, encouraging our neighbours of all ages to keep physically as well a creatively active during the lockdown.

 

We will have professional artists/dancer guiding you through a series of creative movements to break up your day and keep you smiling.

 

WHO CAN JOIN? This is for singles, couples, families, roommates, etc. ONE HOUSEHOLD at the time.

 

DETAILS: One-on-one guided movement sessions 

 

WHERE: Parliament Square soccer field (Berkeley & Esplanade)

 

COST: FREE to the community 

 

TIME: Please show up 5 mis before your session - sessions will last 25 mins.

 

CLOTHING: We suggest dressing in layers, wearing water proof outerwear, headwear that protects your ears, warm gloves/mittens and boots. 

 

RESTRICTIONS: We are protecting our community by following the COVID19 health guidelines as set out by the province and are limiting to 4 PEOPLE MAX + 1 instructor = 5 people. If you have a larger household, we would be more than happy to book a double session with another artist/instructor. 

We have been “Moving in the Park” with dozens of Esplanadians.  We will be extending our program based on demand.  If you don’t see availability that works for you, stay tuned to our website or our social media pages for new dates!
