About the Event

Joy in the Park is back!

WHEN | Thursday, October 4 from 6pm to 8pm WHERE | David Crombie Park (across from The Jamii Hub)

Join us on Saturday, October 4th in David Crombie Park (at Berkeley and The Esplanade), at 6pm for a joyful evening celebration filled with live music, aerial show, face painting, a craft table and, last but not least, hot chocolate and apple cider!

Enjoy The Enchanted Forest, performed by Hercinia Arts Collective – a magical story that features three birds and two forest spirits, brought to life through aerial arts, stilt dancing, and physical theatre. And wait! The little ones will also be invited to learn how to juggle!

We’re also thrilled to present a Roda de Samba with renowned musician Carlos Cardozo and his ensemble: Ian Felix, Matheus Coelho, André Valério, and Baiano. Get ready to move to the rhythm and enjoy the colorful energy of Brazil!
